Dora-Jane, project manager and prolific hunter, to the resuce

She enters the room, carefully scanning the area for changes, before finally settling in to inspect some recently emptied boxes, trying them out for size and comfort. Without warning...she leaps across the room. What have we here? Could it be that someone left the storage armoire open. It's just a crack, but big enough for a paw to fit in...there...almost...yes there it is...success! Eyes wide, tail twitching excitedly...this looks like it needs a thorough inventory! All Items must be reviewed and tagged. This could take hours...yawn...well maybe after a nap. Bounding up to the special place on the work table, she proceeds to groom every angle of herself incessantly. I reach over and give her an affectionate pet. Wait for it...there it is...that look of utter disgust, and the incessant cleaning process starts all over again....

Fall is in the air!

You gotta start somewhere, for me it's usually a quick sketch of an idea.

Once it's on paper, I can make a pattern and cut out the sheet metal. Then I refine it by sanding, do any hammering, soldering, adding a patina etc.. and then I'm ready to assemble my piece!
Spent the day working on some new jewelry ideas and hammering out, literally, some new designs! Here's my quick sketch and final photos of a new necklace called, "Singing in the Rain". Check out my Etsy site where you can purchase the finished product!
